When you love someone it's your nature to protect them and that's what Jemal did. He was very protective of his loved ones, we were lucky enough to have met our guardian angel "JEMAL" before he had to return back home (heaven). Words can not express how we felt when Jemal suddenly left us, when he left; he took a big part of us along with him. Till this day we are still grieving our hearts are aching with sorrow and our eyes are filled with tears.
Jemal Oluranti Wilson, Jr. is the son of Valerie and the late Jemal Oluranti Wilson, Sr. in passing he has joined his father, his great-grandmother Estelle and his grandmother Maria.
Jemal attended P.S. 273, JH.S. 166 and Career Development and was employed by United Staffing System.
Jemal loved listening to his ipod, which included music by Young Jeezy who is one of his favorite artist was.
Everything he set out to do Jemal succeeded, including Boxing and Football. For those who knew him, knew he was good with his hands, which is what made Jemal outstanding in the sport of Boxing. At the age of fourteen, Jemal played Football-he had the heart for the game but not yet the skill; however, when he learned the game, he mastered it.
Jemal was known for speaking his mind and well as being a jokester. You would often find him teasing and being playful with his mother, sisters and younger cousins. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandmother and was concern about her well being. Jemal truly loved his family with all his heart. All those that knew him loved him.
Jemal Oluranti Wilson, Jr. leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his mother Valerie; his stepfather Lance; his grandmother Charlie Mae; his grandfather Gonzalo, Jr; his sisters Misha and Mercedes; his brother Tyrell; his godmother Pamela; his goddaughter Alexus; his aunts: Sonja, Sandra (and her husband Dwight, Sr.), Linda (and her husband Phillip) and Luz ( and her husband Taliek Sr.); his uncles: James, Kerry, Carlos, Jose and Gonzalo,lll (and his wife Lissette) and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

God created heaven
So beautiful and divine
There are waterfalls and babbling brooks
With water crystal clear
Birds and butterflies flying without a care
Flowers are all blooming with fragrance oh so sweet
Trees and lush green meadows stretch on endlessly

After god had created his heaven
What was he to do now?
Who could he share this beauty with?
He had to think it through
He looked down to earth from his heavenly home above
He saw so many people who could live with him above

He scoured the earth so carefully
Choosing each one with great care
The sweetest and best he wanted to live with him up there
He gave them golden wings and up to heaven they flew
God was waiting to meet them at heavens golden gate
He greeted them with a loving smile, and said “Welcome Home My Dear”
He took them in his loving embrace and held them so near

Now they fly free in the beautiful place called heaven
Laughing, dancing, singing, free from all worry and pain
Where the days are forever sunny, there are no days of rain
Behind on earth our broken hearts our angel left behind
Will once again be mended, when god chooses it to be
